Low... Er Fat Spaghetti Bake |

Just a spaghetti bake that is on the light side. I would say it is kid friendly, since you puree the ingredients they wouldn't like. Ingredients:
0.5 (12 ounce) box whole wheat spaghetti, cooked as directed and drained |
1/2 lb ground turkey |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
salt and pepper |
1 roasted red pepper |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1 1/2 tablespoons red wine vinegar |
2 teaspoons sugar |
1/4 green pepper |
1/4 onion |
2 tablespoons nonfat sour cream |
2 ounces neufchatel cheese |
1 cup low fat cottage cheese |
Directions:
1. Saute onions and green peppers in olive oil. 2. Puree together with all of the rest of sauce ingredients. 3. Brown turkey, add salt and pepper. 4. Layer in an 8 by 8 inch baking dish. 5. 1/2 of Spaghetti. 6. 1/2 of turkey. 7. 1/2 of sauce 8. cheese mixture. 9. rest of spaghetti. 10. rest of turkey. 11. rest of sauce mixture. |
