An old recipe of Darlene Kossman's. This reminds me of wacky cake and has no eggs but vinegar. Ingredients:
3 cups flour |
3/4 cup cocoa |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
2 cups sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons vinegar |
1/2 cup oil |
2 cups water |
1 tablespoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Sift dry ingredients together. 2. Mix in wet ingredients. 3. Pour into a large ungreased pan. 4. Bake at 350 degrees until it shrinks from sides of pan, probably about 25 minutes. |
