A wonderful low carb deviled egg recipe I received during the holidays... Very good, can't go wrong with dill... Love it... Ingredients:
6 hard-cooked eggs, peeled and sliced in half lengthwise |
1tbs. reduced -fat sour cream |
1tbs. reduced-fat mayonnaise |
1tbs. 1% cottage cheese |
1tsp. dried dill weed |
1tsp. minced dill pickle |
1tsp. dijon mustard |
1/8tsp. salt |
1/8tsp. white pepper |
paprika, for garnish |
Directions:
1. Remove yolks from egg halves. Mash yolks with sour cream, mayonnaise, cottage cheese, dill, dill pickle, mustard, salt and pepper in small bowl. 2. Fill egg halves with mixture, using teaspoon or piping bag fitted with large plain tip. Garnish filled egg halves with paprika. |
