Well, basically when I concocted this little recipe, I was trying to come up with a lower calorie way of drinking fruit juice. Fruit juice is loaded with sugars, even if natural. I thought that it seemed a great waste of money to buy the Lite fruit juice at the market-its never on sale, always costs more and isn't necessarily the flavor I want. So what I came up with is a very simple alternative. Choose whatever 100% fruit juice you like. There's no sense to using anything except 100% juice. Ingredients:
12 ounces diet sprite or 12 ounces diet 7-up |
4 ounces 100% fruit juice |
ice cube (optional) |
Directions:
1. In a tall glass, add 12 oz refrigerated diet Sprite or Diet 7-Up over optional ice. 2. Add 4 oz of refrigerated 100% fruit juice. |
