Ingredients:
8 strip(s) bacon diced
2 onions
1 cup(s) brown sugar
1/2 cup(s) cider vinegar
1 teaspoon(s) salt
1 teaspoon(s) ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
28 ounce(s) baked beans
16 ounce(s) kidney beans drained, rinsed
15 1/2 ounce(s) pinto beans drained, rinsed
15 1/2 ounce(s) black eyed peas drained, rinsed
15 ounce(s) lima beans drained, rinsed
Directions:
1. Cook bacon in skillet until crisp. Remove to paper towels. 2. Drain, reserving 2 Tbsp drippings. 3. Saute onions in drippings until tender. 4. Add brown sugar, vinegar, salt, mustard, and garlic powder to skillet. Bring to boil. 5. Combine beans and peas in slow cooker. Add onion mixture and bacon. Mix well. 6. Cover. Cook on high 3-4 hours. Another variation: Add ground beef.
