Lorna's Hard Sauce/Glaze

I don't know who Lorna is, but she made one mighty fine hard sauce. Try and not keep your fingers from licking the bowl!!!! I used this recipe on my cinnamon buns and Christmas pudding. This recipe can be cut in half quite successfully
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 cup icing sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
1. Bring the first three ingredients to a boil for 1 minute. Cool until slightly warm and add the rest of the ingredients.
