This is FUN! Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef |
salt & fresh ground pepper (to taste) |
4 ounces cream cheese (room temp.) |
1 tablespoon mustard |
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish (drained) |
1 large sourdough bread |
shredded lettuce |
sliced tomato |
sliced onion |
Directions:
1. Heat oven 350°F. 2. Season meat. Press 2/3 of the meat into a sprayed (8 inch) pie plate, pushing up to cover sides. 3. Combine the cheese, mustard and horseradish. Spread on meat. 4. Pat remaining meat into an (8 inch) circle. Place on top. Seal. 5. Bake 45 minutes. 6. Heat bread. Slice into a large bun , hollowing out center slightly. 7. Fill with burger. Slice into wedges. 8. Top with the lettuce, tomato and onion if desired. |
