What a comfort!!! Ingredients:
2 lbs bulk sausage |
3 potatoes (peeled, diced) |
1 large carrot (peeled, diced) |
1 shallot (minced) |
1 1/2 green peppers (seeded, diced) |
1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes with basil |
1 large garlic clove (minced) |
salt |
fresh cracked pepper |
cayenne (to taste) |
Directions:
1. Brown sausage, breaking up. 2. Add the potatoes, carrot, shallot, peppers, tomatoes and garlic. Bring to a boil. Reduce. Simmer 3 hours. 3. Season. Serve. |
