Lori's Asian Chicken Broth |

REALLY good. Although I usually make plain broth, this one is great for asian soups! Ingredients:
4 lbs chicken bones |
1 carrot (chunked) |
1 head garlic (unpeeled, separated) |
2 tablespoons chinese hot dry mustard |
1 piece fresh ginger, sliced (large chunk) |
1/3 cup allspice berry |
3 tablespoons parsley stems |
water, to cover |
Directions:
1. Combine all in a crockpot. Cover. Cook on low for 24 hours. 2. Strain through a cheesecloth 2-3 times. 3. Let cool. Freeze or use as needed. |
