This is a popular recipe used in hawaii that I grew up on. It really compliments roast pork,or as we call it kalua pig. The best thing is that it doesn't have to be cooked. Ingredients:
1/4 filet salted salmon |
3 green onions, diced |
1/4 onion, diced ( or red onion if you prefer) |
1 teaspoon sea salt (rock salt will work also) |
1/2 cup crushed ice |
Directions:
1. Dice the salmon and then combine with the green onions and the onions, then the salt and mix together, then cover with the crushed ice and chill till ready to serve. |
