My Jewish mother-in-law's recipe for noodle pudding. Delicious. I also add 1/2 cup raisins for a sweet touch. Ingredients:
3/4 lb wide egg noodles |
3 eggs |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 dash pepper |
2 tablespoons butter |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 cup sour cream |
1 cup cottage cheese |
1/2 cup cream cheese (1/4 pound) |
butter |
Directions:
1. Cook noodles in boiling water 10 minutes. Drain. 2. In a large bowl thoroughly mix noodles with the next 9 ingredients. 3. Press into a buttered pudding dish. Dot with butter and bake in a 350 degree oven 30 minutes or until brown. |
