1/2 cup of bacon ends |
1/2 cup of finely diced onions |
8 cups of sliced okra |
2 16 ounce cans tomatoes |
1 cup of water |
Directions:
1. In large skillet, fry bacon until crisp. Add onions and okra. Cook until okra is seared, stirring often. Add tomatoes and water, salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil, let simmer approximately 20 minutes until okra is tender. Makes 12 servings. |
