I created this just this morning. Was trying to find something special to make for hubby and I for our anniversary. I served a little sour cream to go with it. Ingredients:
3 potatoes, medium, shredded |
1 onion, small, shredded |
1 cup ham, shredded |
1 cup mushroom, fresh, shredded |
1/4 cup butter |
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. Place butter in fry pan - I used electric skillet. Turn on to med heat. 2. Mix shredded potatoes, onion, ham, and mushrooms. Add to fry pan in an even amount around the pan. 3. Cover and leave alone for 10 minutes or until bottom is crisp and top is tender. 4. Flip, cover and let cook about 10 minutes more or until bottom is crisp. 5. Remove lid and add shredded cheese. Let sit for a few minutes until cheese is melted. 6. Serve with sour cream, hot sauce or ketchup as desired. |
