I found this in the September issue of AARP magazine in an article by Donna Nakazawa, I personally am going to get my spirulina in pill form, but if you like the taste of it, just follow the recipe. I haven't tried it yet, but it's healthy and consider what's in the blender as a gas tank full of high antioxidant fuel for the day. Ingredients:
1 cup frozen blueberries |
1/2 tablespoon spirulina |
1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt |
1 teaspoon ground flax seeds |
1 tablespoon almond butter |
1 dash soymilk |
Directions:
1. Blend in blender till smooth. |
