According to Feldon's research at Livermore Lab, thin marinades, such as this should help reduce HCAs from grilling. Ingredients:
6 tablespoons olive oil |
4 tablespoons cider vinegar |
4 tablespoons lemon juice |
1/2 cup brown sugar (packed) |
3 tablespoons grainy mustard |
3 medium garlic cloves (crushed) |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
Directions:
1. Mix well. 2. Pour over meat & mix well. 3. Marinade 4 hrs or overnight. 4. Grill meat as usual. |
