I found this recipe years ago in a cookbook from one of the local churches. It's easy and so good. One of my family's favorites. Ingredients:
3 lbs skinless chicken thighs |
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped |
1/2 cup onion, chopped |
4 ounces canned mushrooms, drained |
8 ounces tomato sauce |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 cup vinegar |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
Directions:
1. Place chicken in 13 x 9 baking dish and top with green pepper, onion and mushrooms. 2. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chicken. 3. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. |
