This is the best cornbread and my family loves it. Ingredients:
1 cup cornmeal |
1 cup flour |
1/4 cup sugar |
1 tablespoon baking powder |
2 teaspoons caraway seeds |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 eggs, beaten |
1 1/2 cups milk |
6 ounces cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Combine cornmeal,flour,sugar,baking powder,caraway seeds and salt. 2. Add eggs, milk, and cheese stirring well. 3. Pour into greased miniture loaf pans or muffin tins. 4. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 mins until lightly brown. |
