Tastes like an apple pie, but without the guilt! Very simple, basic recipe once you peel a few apples. Couldn't get any easier! Ingredients:
2 cups apples, red and green, cored, peeled |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon apple pie spice |
1/2 cup golden raisin |
1/4 cup chopped almonds or 1/4 cup walnuts |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 250. Spray baking sheet with cooking spray. 2. Combine apples with spices and toss. Transfer to baking sheet, arranging in a single layer. 3. Cook for 1 hour. Allow to cool. 4. Combine cooked apples with raisins and nuts. Place in snack-sized zip-top baggies and refrigerate. |
