This is a good chili dish that I make often. The salsa really gives it an extra kick! Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef |
2 onions, chopped |
4 stalks celery, chopped |
2 green peppers, chopped |
4 tbsp chili powder |
16 oz. jar salsa |
2 (8 oz) jars tomato sauce |
2 cans kidney beans |
2 cans black beans |
2 cans corn |
2 cans mushrooms |
Directions:
1. Throw all ingredients together in slow cooker. Simmer for 2 hours. This won't burn if you simmer on low 8 to 10 hours while you are out at work etc. You can eliminate or add any of the listed veggies or beans without affecting this recipe much. Throw in whatever you have on hand! |
