Two tablespoons of this supplies your daily requirement of Omega 3 fatty acids and at least 40% of your B12 requirement. From Davis and Melinas Becoming Vegan. Ingredients:
1/2 cup flax seed oil |
1/2 cup water |
1/3 cup lemon juice |
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar or 2 tablespoons raspberry vinegar |
1/4 cup tamari or 1/4 cup braggs liquid aminos |
1/4-1/2 cup nutritional yeast |
2 teaspoons dijon mustard |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
Directions:
1. Blend until smooth. 2. Keep in a lidded jar for up to 2 weeks in the fridge. |
