Linguini with Red Clam Sauce |

I like this one. It's easy to do and has lots of flavor. I got this from a magazine. Ingredients:
8 ounces linguine, cooked and drained |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 tablespoon chopped garlic |
1 tablespoon chopped onion |
1 (6 1/2 ounce) can chopped clams |
1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes |
parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Heat butter in 12-inch skillet. 2. Add garlic and onion, cook till soft. 3. Add tomatoes. 4. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer and cook for 5 minutes. 5. Add clams and heat through. 6. Serve over linguini, sprinkle with cheese. |
