Linguine with White Clam Sauce |

Ingredients:
2/3 cup margarine |
1/4 teaspoon basil |
1/3 cup olive oil |
1/4 teaspoon oregano |
3 cloves garlic |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
3 (8 ounce) cans minced clams, drained |
1/3 cup parsley, finely chopped |
1 lb linguine |
Directions:
1. Melt margarine in saucepot; add oil; heat. 2. Saute garlic and clams in hot oil mixture over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes. 3. Stir in parsley, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. 4. Simmer 5-10 minutes. 5. Cook linguine according to package directions; drain well. 6. Return to pot; add sauce; toss lightly. 7. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese. |
