Linguine With Camembert Tomato and Basil |

This is for safe-keeping; sometimes the taste is worth every calorie. Found in California Sizzles. Preparation time does not include 3 hours of marinating time. Ingredients:
5 roma tomatoes, cut into small cubes |
1/2 lb ripened camembert cheese, remove rind and cut into small pieces |
1 cup fresh basil leaf, cut into strips |
3 garlic cloves, peeled |
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 lb linguine, cooked according to package directions |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except linguine. Let sit at room temperature in a covered bowl for 3 hours. 2. Prepare pasta according to package directions. Drain pasta, and while still hot, pour sauce over and toss. Serve immediately. |
