This is a banana bread that I have made for years. Very good, very moist. The original recipe was given to me by a friend who's bread I really enjoyed, in that one the recipe called for 1/2 cup of milk that you put a teaspoon of lemon juice or vinegar in it to make it sour. I guess we didn't want to have to buy a special ingredient ... but since I have buttermilk in the fridge most of the time, I just started using that instead with better results IMHO...do it either way ...
