Lindsey's Quick and Easy Grilled Jerk Chicken

This recipe started as an experiment in my kitchen when I got tired of the same old chicken and had to utilize what spices I had at the time. I improvised a bit, and It turned out great! The scent and flavor is excellent. The spices will smoke a bit and the chicken will have a blackened look, but when it is done it is succulent and moist. I hope you enjoy!
Ingredients:
4 boneless chicken breasts
2 teaspoons basil
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons thyme
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon garlic
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 pinch ground cloves
olive oil (for coating chicken)
Directions:
1. Mix together all spice ingredients.
2. Brush the chicken lightly with Olive Oil.
3. Rub spice mixture all over chicken.
4. Grill at low heat until juices run clear, or chicken has reached 165 degrees F. (about 6-8 min each side, depending on chicken thickness).
