My twist on a recipe from Paula Deen. Ingredients:
4 garlic cloves, chopped |
1/4 cup vegetable oil |
1 tablespoon tomato paste |
1 pinch salt |
2 tablespoons honey |
1 1/2 limes, juice of |
1/2 lime, zest of |
4 chicken breasts |
Directions:
1. In a blender, puree until smooth garlic, vegetable oil, tomato paste, salt, honey and lime juice. 2. Pour marinade over the chicken. 3. Finely grate the lime zest on top of chicken and toss to coat. 4. Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate overnight. |
