This is a chilled custard dish, it can be made with any citrus juice & zest Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups cream, heavy |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon sugar |
3 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh |
2 tablespoons lime juice, fresh |
1 teaspoon lemon zest |
1 teaspoon lime zest |
Directions:
1. Bring cream and 3/4 cup sugar to boil over medium-high heat 2. Stir until sugar dissolves 3. Boil 3 minutes stirring constantly; adjust heat as needed to prevent mixture from boiling over 4. Remove from heat 5. Stir in lemon juice and lime juice 6. Cool 10 minutes 7. Stir mixture again and divide among 5 or 6 1/2 cup ramekins or custard cups 8. Cover and chill until set, at least 4 hours or overnight 9. Mix 1 teaspoon sugar, lemon and lime zest in small bowl and sprinkle over possets |
