Limas and mushrooms. Ingredients:
3-ounce can broiled sliced mushrooms |
water |
10-ounce package frozen baby limas |
1/4 cup chopped onion |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
dash pepper |
1/4 cup light cream |
Directions:
1. Drain one 3-ounce can broiled sliced mushrooms, reserving liquid; add water to make 1/2 cup. 2. Combine liquid with one 10-ounce package frozen baby limas, 1/4 cup chopped onion, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and dash pepper. 3. Cover; bring ot boil; simmer 15 minutes or till beans are almost tender. 4. Uncover; cook till most of liquid evaporates. 5. Add mushrooms and 1/4 cup light cream; heat thoroughly. 6. Makes 4 servings. |
