Lima or Butter Bean Chowder

Ingredients:
2 slices bacon
2 small onions, peeled and minced
4 potatoes, pared and diced
3 carrots, peeled and diced
2 cups lima beans, cooked (canned is fine)
1 teaspoon salt
boiling water
2 cups medium white sauce
Directions:
1. Dice bacon and place in a kettle.
2. Add onion and cook until golden.
3. Add potatoes, carrots, Lima beans and salt; cover with boiling water.
4. Cook until vegetables are tender.
5. Add white sauce, heat and serve.
