pepper to taste |
salt to taste |
1 1/2 lb ground beef |
2 1/2 cups lima beans |
Directions:
1. Melt the fat in a skillet. Add the ground beef and onion; fry until the onion is tender and the beef is no longer pink. In a baking dish, combine the lima beans, tomato soup, salt and pepper. Top the beans mixture with the ground beef and onion mixture. Top with a piece of pie dough. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes until heated through and the pastry crust is golden brown. 2. This recipe is from an old Midwestern church cookbook. |
