Ingredients:
2 cups shelled fresh lima beans |
3/4 cup half-and-half |
1 tablespoon butter or margarine |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Place lima beans in a steaming rack; place over boiling water and steam 20 minutes or until tender. 2. Combine beans, half-and-half, butter, salt, and pepper in a saucepan. Cook over low heat 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated. |
