This is a dish that no one can resist!It is always requested at parties.There is always something in this dish that appeals to everyone!I use my own recipe for salad dressing in this dish, but you can use store bought . Read more ...it works just as well. Ingredients:
1+1/2 lbs.bagged lettuce(with carrots+purple cabbage) |
1 red onion-sliced thin |
1 large beefsteak tomato-sliced thin |
1 small jar peppercinis |
6 marinated artichoke hearts-quartered |
1 small jar roasted red peppers-cut into strips |
1 small jar green spanish olives |
3/4 lb. marinated mushrooms-cut in half |
12 thin slices provolone cheese |
12 thin slices cooked ham |
12 thin slices hard salami |
12 thin slices pepperoni |
10oz. italian salad dressing |
Directions:
1. Assemble Antipasto in a 1/2 size sterno tray. 2. Place sliced tomatoes on the bottom.Then add salad.Then sprinkle with onions, mushrooms, olives, peppercinis and artichoke hearts. 3. Roll together 1 slice each of the the cheese, ham and salami,with the cheese on the outside of each roll. 4. Place each roll on top of the salad.Roll each slice of pepperoni and tuck along top edge of tray.Place strips of red peppers alongside of rolled cold cuts. 5. Pour salad dressing over the top just before serving. |
