Syrup for canning fruit.
Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups sugar
5 1/4 cups water
Directions:
1. In a stainless steel saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil over medium high heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Reduce heat to low and keep waarm until needed, taking care not to boil the syrup down.
