LIGHT QUICHE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Ouzo Estate in Seagoville, Texas in 1982. Ingredients:
1 cup finely chopped white onion |
2 large eggs plus whites of 2 large eggs |
1 cup low fat milk |
1/2 cup fat free sour cream |
1/2 cup shredded part skim jarlsberg cheese |
2 slices canadian bacon chopped |
1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese |
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
1 prebaked pie crust |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 then coat medium nonstick skillet with cooking spray. 2. Add onion and cook 5 minutes until golden. 3. Whisk onion and remaining ingredients in a bowl then pour into prebaked pie crust. 4. Bake 45 minutes then cool slightly and serve. |
