I believe this Recipe is from Better Homes and Gardens. I found it on Shine! from Yahoo! My wife and I are big on Italian food, and we loved it!
Ingredients:
8 ounces linguine or 8 ounces spaghetti
2 slices turkey bacon, sliced crosswise into strips
1 egg, beaten
1 cup evaporated nonfat milk
1/2 cup frozen peas
1/4 cup chopped sweet red pepper
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
black pepper
Directions:
1. Cook linguine or spaghetti according to package directions.
2. Spray a medium saucepan with nonstick coating.
3. Cook turkey bacon in saucepan until crisp and light brown. Drain on paper towels. Wipe saucepan clean.
4. In the same saucepan, combine the beaten egg, evaporated milk, peas, sweet pepper, and crushed red pepper.
5. Cook and stir over medium heat for about 6 minutes. Do not boil.
6. Stir in bacon and half of the Parmesan cheese. Heat through.
7. Immediately pour sauce over hot cooked pasta; toss to coat.
8. Transfer to a warm serving platter and sprinkle with black pepper and remaining Parmesan cheese.
