Light Lady Finger Dessert |

Again, picked this one up in the south. This is light and fluffy. There's always room for dessert. Ingredients:
3 pkg. lady fingers |
11 oz. soft cream cheese |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla |
1 pt. whipping cream |
1 can pie filling, cherry or blueberry |
Directions:
1. Line a 9 inch spring form pan with the Lady Fingers, sides and bottom. 2. Cream the cheese, sugar and vanilla in a bowl. 3. Whip the cream. 4. Fold these two together. 5. Spoon in 1/2 of the filling. 6. Put in one layer of the lady fingers 7. Finish with the rest of the filling. 8. Refrigerate. 9. Before slicing, top with cheery or blueberry pie filling. |
