Creamy and dreamy Ingredients:
8 ounces uncooked fettuccine |
1/3 cup margarine or 1/3 cup butter |
1 1/2 teaspoons flour |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
1/2 cup half-and-half |
1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Cook fettuccine to desired doneness as directed on package. 2. Drain and keep warm. 3. Meanwhile, melt margarine in large skillet over low heat; stir in flour and pepper. 4. Gradually stir in half-and-half. 5. Cook over low heat 5 minutes or until mixture thickens slightly, stirring frequently. 6. Stir in cheese and cook just until cheese is melted, stirring constantly. 7. Immediately stir in cooked fettuccine; toss to coat with sauce. 8. Serve immediately. |
