very healthy banana bread Ingredients:
1 c white flour |
1/2 c wheat flour |
1 1/4 tsp baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
2 egg whites, slightly beaten |
1 c mashed banana |
3/4 c sugar |
1/4 c unsweetened applesauce |
Directions:
1. In a medium mixing bowl stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon & salt. 2. In a large mixing bowl stir together egg whites, banana, sugar, and oil. Stir flour mixture into banana mixture just till moistened. 3. Spray an 8x4x2 inch loaf pan with nonstick spray coating. Spread batter n prepared pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes or till a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. 4. Cool bread in the pan for 10 minutes. |
