Who says you can't have your cake and eat it too?...When life hands you lemons...Make Lemon Pudding Cake!! Ingredients:
3 farm fresh eggs,separated |
1/2 cup milk |
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice |
2 teaspoons lemon peel,grated |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/3 cup flour |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Beat egg yolks in a bowl. 2. Blend in milk,lemon juice and lemon peel. 3. Add sugar,flour and salt,beat until smooth. 4. Beat egg whites until stiff. 5. Fold into yolk mixture,gently,but completely. 6. Pour into a greased one quart casserole dish. 7. Place this dish inside another pan,pour hot water into the the larger pan to about 1 deep. 8. Bake in a 325 degree oven,for about 30 to 40 minutes,or until golden brown. 9. Serve warm or cool,topped with whipped cream that has been flavored with Lemon extract. |
