chicken with mushroom and wine sauce Ingredients:
24 ounce boneless skinless chicken breasts |
1 tablespoon butter |
1 cup white wine |
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced |
2 tablespoons flour |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Brown chicken in butter. Add wine and mushrooms. Cover; let simmer until tender. Remove chicken; set aside. Make sauce by adding to the wine and mushrooms: flour, lemon juice and water to bring to desired consistency. Simmer, uncovered, 5-10 minutes, stirring constantly. Serve sauce over chicken and rice. |
