This is a salad for a large group, unless you want to cut it in half to serve your family.
Ingredients:
1 head shredded lettuce (my fav is either green leafy or romaine hearts)
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can water chestnuts (chopped)
2 small boxes frozen peas (do not cook)
2 cups salad dressing
3 tablespoons sugar
cheddar cheese
parmesan cheese
1/2 cup crushed fried bacon or bacos (real bacon is better)
6 hard boiled eggs, sliced
tomato wedges
Directions:
1. Layer in 9x12 dish, the lettuce, celery, onions, water chestnuts, and peas. Spread salad dressing on top of peas and sprinkle with sugar. Add cheddar and parmesan cheese and bacon bits. Decorate with boiled eggs and tomato wedges.
