My mother-in-law's recipe; this is Czech. Good on biscuits or dumplings. Ingredients:
2 cups canned tomatoes |
3 tablespoons sugar |
3 tablespoons flour |
1 cup sour cream |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Put tomatoes in a 2 quart saucepan; add sugar and heat to almost boiling. 2. Stir flour into sour cream until smooth. 3. Add to tomatoes and bring to a boil just long enough to thicken, stirring constantly. 4. Add salt and pepper. |
