These have cider vinegar and bell peppers. Very old recipe. She says they keep up to 8 weeks in refrigerator. You can add more seasonings if you would like; it is kind of plain. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1 tablespoon salt |
1/4 cup water |
3/4 cup cider vinegar |
6 cups cucumbers, peeled, sliced |
1 cup onion, sliced |
1 cup green pepper, sliced |
Directions:
1. Heat to dissolve sugar, salt, water, and vinegar. 2. Cool. 3. Pour over pickles; mix. 4. Put in refrigerator. |
