Libbie's Corn for Freezing |

My MIL freezes her corn and it tastes really fresh. Ingredients:
4 quarts corn |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 quart water |
4 teaspoons salt |
Directions:
1. Cut the corn off the cob and measure 4 quarts. Be careful this gets slippery. 2. Put all the ingredients in a large kettle. 3. Bring to a boil. 4. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring frequently to keep corn from sticking to bottom of pan. 5. After 10 minutes, set aside to cool. 6. When cool package in your freezer containers. |
