Lentils with Pomegranate Molasses and Swiss Chard |

Yummy. Can play around with garlic, swiss chard leaves, olive oil etc. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup dried lentils |
1 2/3 tablespoon olive oil |
6 swiss chard leaves |
3/4 cup cilantro |
8 cloves garlic |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
2 tablespoon raspberry jelly |
Directions:
1. Cover lentils with water, bring to a boil, then simmer until tender 2. Remove lentils, reserve any leftover liquid up to a cup 3. Wilt swiss chard in part of olive oil in pot; remove 4. Saute smashed garlic cloves and finely chopped cilantro in remaining olive oil 5. Stir in lentils with liquid and chard; salt to taste and cook for another ten minutes or so on low 6. Stir in lemon juice and pomegranate molasses (NOT RASPBERRY JELLY it just wasn't in the database) |
