Soup with lentil beans and vegetables. Ingredients:
1 1/3 cup lentils |
4 cups water |
4 cups chicken broth |
2 carrots, chopped |
1/2 head of cabbage, chopped |
1 celery stalk, chopped |
1 small onion, chopped |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1/2 tsp oregano |
16 oz tomato, crushed |
Directions:
1. Rinse lentils. Add to medium pot with water and broth. Bring to boil. Reduce to simmer and cover for 1 hour. 2. Add chopped vegetables, garlic, oregano and tomato. Cook for 30 min. |
