3/4 lb. boneless pork shoulder |
3/4 c chopped celery, chopped |
3/4 c chopped onion |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
6 c water |
3/4 c lentils |
1 quart tomatoes |
3/4 c pearl barley |
2 t salt |
1/4 t pepper |
1/2 shredded carrots |
1/2 t rosemary |
Directions:
1. Ina large pot brown pork. 2. Add celery, onion, and minced garlic. Saute until golden. 3. Add water and lentils. Cook 20 minutes. 4. Add tomatoes, barley, and spices. Simmer 45-60 minutes. 5. Add carrots and cook 5 minutes. Serve. |
