This makes a very hearty meal served with salad and crusty bread. Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) package dry lentils |
1 (16 ounce) can diced tomatoes |
2 (14 ounce) cans beef broth |
3 cups water |
1 carrot, chopped |
2 lbs polska kielbasa, cut into 1/2 inch pieces |
3 celery ribs, chopped |
Directions:
1. Rinse and drain lentils, but do not soak. 2. Place all ingredients in a slow cooker, stir together. 3. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours. 4. Stir well before serving. |
