This was a secret recipe from a deli in North Eastern PA that was doused on all the hoagies (submarine sandwiches) we sold. You might want to scale this recipe for home use! Ingredients:
4 cups water |
2 cups vinegar |
3 tablespoons oregano |
1 tablespoon garlic powder |
3 cups oil |
2 cups sugar |
3 tablespoons italian seasoning |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. mix all ingredients together in a large jar.
