This includes sour cream and miracle whip to make a light dressing to go over your freshly cooked brussels sprouts. Although the recipe says to boil them, I think it woukld be just as good if you steamed them or sauted them in a little oil until they are cooked. Ingredients:
8 cups halved and trimmed fresh brussels sprouts |
1/4 cup light sour cream |
1/4 cup miracle whip |
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
1 teaspoon lemon zest |
1/2 teaspoon dijon mustard |
Directions:
1. Cook brussels sprouts in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes for crisp- tender veggies or as long as you like to get the doneness you want. 2. Meanwhile mix the remaining ingredients in a large bowl. 3. Drain the brussels sprouts, add to the dressing mixture and toss to coat. |
